'A Walk Through the Past: Memories of Old Kilpatrick' is an oral history project that collected stories from 27 residents of the village. These stories were digitally recorded and analysed and a selection of edited memories can now be found in a booklet and this website, presented alongside fascinating images, many of which were generously donated by the interviewees.
Two audio walks will allow users to follow set routes whilst listening to short audio clips that let you ‘see’ the present as the past. In essence it will help bring the past to life.
This project was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund
